First, let me say the one page, on-line application looks very easy. The grant winners will receive $3,ooo in the hardware, software, and server access needed for podcasting. I am ready to apply, but since I don’t have any students of my own, and don’t think it wise to start dictating what one of you is going to do with your students, I’m looking for a teacher who is willing to try something new. I’ll write the grant, with your input. I already have some teachers in mind. You know who you are! Let’s do this!

Grants will be judged based on:

Effective integration of podcasting in the curriculum.

Effective use of ALL the resources provided by the grant.

High degree of student involvement. We are looking for projects which involve the entire class in a variety of capacities for a group project, or where each student gets the opportunity to build their own project.

Creativity and fun. Our judges are looking for great projects that they would like to take part in!

Deadlines: June 30, 2007 – 3 Winners; December 30, 2007 – 4 Winners; April 30, 2008 – 3 Winners
